Pedestrian safety at the junction of White Lion Street/Baron Street
We the undersigned petition the council to implement safety measures to improve the crossing for pedestrians at the junction of White Lion street and Baron street.
On Thursday 3rd October a woman in her 60s was sadly killed after being hit by a bus. We work in the buildings surrounding the junction and many colleagues have been concerned for their safety when crossing there. Vehicles are known to speed around the corner where there is a blind spot and unfortunately, many of us have been anticipating a tragic incident to occur here.
