North London Waste Authority
Description
The Authority responsible for the disposal of waste, encouraging the reclamation and recycling of waste, clearing refuse from civic amenity sites, and for making arrangements for the storage and disposal of abandoned vehicles. Seven London Boroughs are represented on the authority, including Islington, with each borough having two members on the Authority, one of whom should be the relevant Cabinet member.
