Announcement: Council meetings and COVID-19 (updated 12/05/2021)
In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the latest government guidance, we have had to make some changes to the arrangements for Council and committee meetings.
All Council and committee meetings, with the exception of Licensing Hearings, will now be held in person in Islington Town Hall. To ensure that meetings can be held safely and in compliance with social distancing requirements, it is unfortunately necessary to limit the number of attendees.
We will webcast the majority of meetings, enabling members of the public to watch the meeting live. The link to the webcast is available on the webpage for each meeting, alongside the agenda papers.
If you would like to observe a meeting whilst social distancing requirements are in still in place, we would encourage you to use the webcasting facility, as it may not be possible to accommodate you in the public gallery in Council Chamber. The small number of seats available will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
If you have any questions about viewing the webcast or attending meetings, please contact the committee clerk prior to the meeting, or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Licensing Hearings will continue to be held virtually on Zoom. Guidance on how to participate in these meetings is available here.
