2.1 That the procurement strategy
for the provision of domestic gas boiler
installations,
servicing and repairs as outlined in this report be
approved.
2.2 That authority
be delegated to the Corporate Director of Housing to
make the decision to award the contracts, in consultation with
the
Executive member for Housing and Development, be agreed.
Reason for decision – to fulfil the statutory obligation to keep the council’s residential properties in good repair.
Other options considered – none other than as specified in the report.
