Appointment of the Director of Law and Governance Minutes: EXCLUSION OF PRESS AND PUBLIC RESOLVED: That the press and public be excluded from the meeting as the presence of members of the public and press could result in the disclosure of exempt information within the terms of the Access to Information Procedures Rules in the Constitution. The sub-committee considered three short-listed applicants each for the post of Director Law and Governance, including individual presentations and interviews. RESOLVED: That Yinka Owa be appointed as Director Law and Governance in accordance with the procedures set out in part four of the Council’s Constitution. That the appointments be made within the existing grade for the post.
