Ban moped delivery drivers for McDonald's Highbury Corner/Uber Eats/Deliveroo for repeatedly ignoring traffic laws and causing anti-social behaviour
We the undersigned petition the council to ban delivery drivers for McDonald's Highbury Corner from Upper Street and uphold traffic laws on Highbury Corner.
Due to the re-opening of McDonald’s Highbury Corner Islington branch in the wake of Covid-19, the delivery drivers for Deliveroo and Uber Eats have started operating again and parking in illegal and dangerous places, mainly on mopeds. This is not a new issue; they have been previously banned from Upper Street for repeatedly ignoring traffic laws and causing anti-social behaviour.
In addition to this, residents have endured incidents of
cat-calling, abusive and aggressive slurs and threats.
We don't feel safe in our homes. Please help us have them removed
from outside our doorways by signing this petition.
