Support for Ocado Ltd proposed food distribution hub on the Bush Industral Estate, Station Road, Tufnell Park, N19 5UN
We welcome the 300 new local jobs that Ocado Ltd are proposing to create and the subsequent boost to the local economy by establishing a distribution hub in Tufnell Park on the Bush Industrial Estate. We urge the Council to work constructively with Ocado Ltd and mutually explore ways of how to mitigate the worst aspects of increased pollution and congestion that the Proposal might have on the surrounding area. Possible areas to consider are staggering hours that deliveries to the depot can be made to avoid School opening and closing times, the creation of a high sound deadening Green wall between Yerbury School and the Industrial Estate, avoiding late night time deliveries to the depot and a traffic light controlled pedestrian crossing at the junction of Station Road/Junction Road.
