2.1 That the proposed Financial Penalty
Charging Policy at Appendix 1 of
the
report be agreed.
2.2 That authority be delegated to
the Corporate Director of Environment
and
Regeneration, in consultation with the Executive Member for
Housing
and Development, to make future changes to the financial
penalty
policy as considered appropriate, be agreed.
Reason for decision – to enable use of an additional enforcement tool against rogue landlords and letting agents.
