RESOLVED:
That the contract for the Health Determinants Research Collaborative award, issued by the National Institute for Health and Care Research, and detailed in the report of the Acting Director of Public Health, be approved.
Reasons for the decision – The Council had been successful in its bid for the Health Determinants Research Collaborative, which included significant income to achieve the objectives of the programme over a six-year period. To comply with the programme timeline, the contract award had to be signed as soon as possible.
