Housing Executive
Purpose of committee
The Housing Executive was a committee that advised on and made recommendations about the Council’s housing landlord function. This included reviewing the operation and effectiveness of the council’s resident engagement arrangements. Its activities followed an annual action plan based on recommendations from the Residents’ Improvement Taskforce.
The Housing Executive was disbanded in 2014. Responsibility for Executive decisions was transferred to the Executive, and responsibility for reviewing services transferred to the Housing Scrutiny Committee.

Theresa Coyle - Residents Champion, elected by the Residents’ Improvement Taskforce
Jim Rooke – elected by tenants in directly properties in the south of the borough
Lawrencia Frimpong - elected by tenants in directly properties in the north of the borough
Rose-Marie McDonald – elected by PFI managed tenants
Liana Sparks – elected by resident leaseholders, shared owners and service charge paying freeholders
Jennifer Rooney – selected from housing association tenants
Shelia McBernie - elected representative of Tenant Management led Organisations
