Reason for urgency:
The matter cannot be deferred to the April meeting of the Executive because continued use of Microsoft Office products is essential for the council to conduct its day to day business and provide service continuity for residents and the current license agreements expire shortly. Failure to secure provision of Microsoft office products before expiry of the existing contracts would seriously prejudice the Council’s and public interest.
